A Prayer In Action

In the remembrance of the Shotey Sahibjade, Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, ‘A Prayer in Action’ is a call to all volunteers who would like to participate in 40 days of collective prayer for the well being of all children suffering around the world. Volunteers from anywhere in the world can choose to take part in this joint effort by pledging to do 40 days of a prayer of their choice.

 

Sikh Youth Leadership Camp (SNA) 8th-9th DECEMBER 2007!!!

This camp is dedicated to providing a better understanding of Sikhi as well as developing leadership potential of our youth in a challenging environment.

Tsunami Disaster Programme (Jan 2005)

A kirtan programme was organised in memory of all the tens of thousands of tsunami victims in Asia. An ardas was also done for the prayers that the global Sikh community committed via Sikh Helpline

 

Bilston Youth Camp (14 Feb 2004)

This is the first of many up and coming youth events in the Bilston area. Participants learn more about our heritage and religion. Bilston Youth Camp was held at Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Arthur Street, Bilston, West Midlands.

Kirtan Darbar organised by several youth organisations from the West Midlands. 5pm-8:30pm. Come down and join in the programme to celebrate the guruship of Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji.

Schools

The naujawan Academy regularly liases with schools and facilitates school visits to Sikh temples, giving a wider understanding within the community and building links with local organisations.

International Gatka Tournament Oldbury
